Plug'n Play Band
Back to pop and rock

Filled with tons of experience and go-ahead spirit, the cover band "Plug'n Play" was established.

From a gig at "Værdens Ende" - Tjøme

Apart from a few local gigs (very good by the way...), our main jobs were focused on playing at so-called "Kick-offs" arranged by the computer companies.

As a result we almost became the "domestic" band for Santech Micro Group, which by the way gave us extremely good attendance during our performances.

We played all kinds of "cover-tunes" from Beatles ans Stones to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Pink Floyd.
Our speciality was a brilliant performed potpouri comprising  "Wish You Were Here, Time, Breathe and Money" from Pink Floyds "Dark side of the moon"

Once again I had the pleasure to play with Per Christian from Eye II Eye (mark I) who was our man on the keaboard.

The very best experience from this period took place at a crowded "Chateau Neuv" when we played "Money" ......and, the norwegian artist "Jørn Hoel" was overshadowed by the "Rockers" from Moss.

The most dreadful experience (most peculiar....) happened at the end of a gig at Seilerholmen in Sandefjord. The rain was pouring down like h..., and all the gear became soaking wet.
That's probably why tuning those drums became a hard task eventually....But the PA is still working.......!

When our lead vocal Eirik Hanssen finally got  "head hunted" to Rock Ltd. (nowadays; "Gøran & The Debitors"), Plug'n Play Band died away.
