The tune that actually turned me on, and which really pulled the rhythmic trigger inside me was "Revolution".
As a counterweight to the "hairy pop", a norwegian record for children, made by Arne Bendixen ("Alle tiders barneplate" ), was bought along with a "Lenco" record player, which could be connected to the radio.
Equipped with mom's best fruitknives, a great deal of my childhood was spent on drumming at everything that sounded tough; slightly accompanied by the "FAB 4 " and a burring "Davy Crocket".
All the wear and tear at the inventory finally made me become a member of the "Dokka janissary band", by which I played in the drill and drummers ensemble - and not least; a lot of good looking girls - and particularly one person I had in mind alle the time; "Hege"

During that period, I actually tested a "real" drumset for the first time by borrowing and putting together a bassdrum along with a pedal, one cymbal and a snare drum (wow - nevertheless a good start,,,)
During a visit to Trygve Rønningens brother (Yes - the guy from TV), I was able to get a glance of what you could make from some cardboard boxes to achieve a pretty peculiar variety of a drumset.
