This new way of selling music, will make it easier for smaller artists who has had problems with getting a contract with a large record company. For now, the only band that has signed is Eye II Eye. Eye II Eye are two 40 year old guys, comparing themselves with Pink Floyd. The have a CD wich contains seven songs. They hope that their singel  "Don't you want me" will reach the people through smsmp3.com. The group is two of the funders of the new consept.

"- We have the advantage that the costs are low. We have also got a domain which is very good for this purpose. I'm sick of record companies that often says no to an artist they haven't even listened to. And I'm saying this as an artist."
