People from Moss, the first to sell MP3-files, payable by SMS.

The rock band Eye II Eye are two guys from Moss. Their unic launching has drawed big attension.

Even P4's «Midt i trafikken» (a radio program on Norwegian P4 radio) was interested in the two guys that has the music as hobby. From the radio, one of the bands songs, where performed live with the help of a coke can.

Eye II Eye is Lars Helland (39) and Jan T. Johannessen (40). They have composed music which they say qualifies for the title: The Norwegian answer to Pink Floyd.
Big words, but a quick listening tells us that the inspiration is there. Helland and Johannessen has written, recorded and produced seven songs in the category 80's rock. Two of the songs has a sound, that brings the thoughts, yes to Pink Floyd..
That musicians compare with other artists or releas songs is hardly unic. What is unic about Eye II Eye is that they are the first worldwide to sell music payable by SMS (Short Message Service).
"– We did never get any record contract, so we had to do something ourselves. Maybe we can draw some attention from the record companies. We want to be at the conventionel CD-market as well," says Helland. "Maybe this is the way to wake up the record companies." The innovators sell their music from the website SmsMP3.no.

The hole article filled almost 2 pages in the paper, and if you want to read the rest, you'll find it here at Moss Avis' own website.

PS! You have to be able to read Norwegian!
